The Boar is a large mammal in Red Dead Redemption 2. It is omnivorous and can be very dangerous to hunt due to its aggression. However, it is very rewarding to kill due to its hides and its meat which can be sold at a fair price. The boar also is one of the animals with the most crafting recipes, and has a legendary version as well.
Best Weapons to Kill the Boar With
Due to the boar’s immense strength it is important to use the right weapon as to not take damage, but also to get a perfect kill. For this, we recommend the sniper rifle due to its power and range. Any ammo can be used except for explosive ammo, which will ruin the kill. If you plan on hunting this animal, we recommend using both predator and herbivore bait to attract it.

Boars often spawn in groups in marshy locations. To have the best shot at finding them , we recommend you go near the rivers of LeMoyne.
