With over 100 weapons plus crafting, modifying items and builds, there are a lot of options for dominating in Fallout 76. Fallout 76 builds are the perfect place to start when it comes to planning your future in the game.

These builds will determine what kind of weapons to aim for and what playstyle will work best for you. Check out this Fallout 76 build guide to conquer the wasteland.

Best Fallout 76 Builds

Bethesda has had to deal with a lot of Fallout 76 issues. That doesn’t mean there isn’t still a loyal fan-base and people are still discovering the game. This guide will help people trying to improve their characters and people just now crawling out of the vault.

Up Close and Personal

Sometimes the best strategy is going toe-to-toe with a radiated monster. While there are plenty of weapons to use in Fallout, that doesn’t mean your fists can’t compete with bullets. These builds will not only help you take hits but also dish them out.

Melee DPS

The great thing about swinging a melee weapon is that you don’t have to worry about ammo. No more worrying about bullet count when trying to take something or someone down. Just swing away.

For traits, you want to focus on gladiator and slugger depending on what type of weapons you want to carry. Grabbing each level of the gladiator is a must, as well as investing mainly in the strength category.

Your final build will look something like this:

Strength – 1 point in Gladiator, Expert Gladiator and Master Gladiator. 3 points in Blocker, Incisor and Martial Artist

Perception – 4 points in Refractor.

Endurance – 3 points in Adamantium Skeleton.

Intelligence – 3 points in First Aid, Power User and Portable Power.

Agility – 3 points in Action Boy and Marathoner. 5 points in Adrenaline and 2 points in Dodgy.

Luck – 3 points in Serendipity and Ricochet.

Tank

Being a strong guy has its advantages. Taking the hits and still being able to fight means you will survive tougher fights than others and keep teammates alive long enough to deal out the damage they need to. Charisma may seem useless for a tank, but don’t ignore it since it is critical for group play.

Your final build will look something like this:
